Event Details: Fire Suppression Tool (FST) Presentation

Making a Difference in North St. Paul!

At our 2026 Booyah Fundraiser, we raised enough funds to donate five fire suppression units to the North St. Paul Police Department!

What are these fire suppression tools?

These compact, lightweight devices fit easily in the trunk of a squad car or other first responder vehicle. They are designed to help minimize fire damage and reduce the risk to first responders and the public when deployed inside enclosed spaces such as homes, garages, businesses, and sheds.

They’re simple to deploy: “Pull the pin and throw it in!” Within approximately 35 seconds, the unit can suppress a fire and reduce the temperature inside the enclosure by more than 1,000 degrees, helping create a safer environment for first responders working to reach and rescue trapped firefighters or civilians.

For those unfamiliar with North St. Paul, the city covers less than three square miles. Having five of these suppression units available to local officers provides an important resource for responding to emergencies and protecting the community.

This is a tremendous contribution to the safety of North St. Paul’s residents, businesses, and first responders!

A HUGE thank-you goes out to the leadership of the Grand Lodge of Minnesota and Minnesota Masonic Charities. This donation would not have been possible without their generosity, commitment, and support.
